The Think Before You Eat Campaign is launching Think BC Organic, a British Columbia-focused campaign centered around profiling organic farms and farmers in the province. COTA released the first Think BC Organic Farmer’s Profile this past Friday, a video profiling the late Mary Forstbauer and her family farm. Forstbauer was considered a pioneer in the organic movement in BC. So far, the video has over 43, 000 views on Facebook and has been shared over 400 times. Phase I of the campaign will run from March until June under the hashtag #FarmerFriday. Members are encouraged to follow us and participate on Twitter and Facebook.
