The Farm Bill continues to make its way toward conference later this fall. The House passed its nutrition title last week, which, in combination with its farm programs Farm Bill passed over the summer, creates a full Farm Bill. The Senate passed a comprehensive Farm Bill over the summer as well. Now that the House has passed both a farm programs Farm Bill and a nutrition title, most expect that Congress can move to conference on a final, comprehensive Farm Bill. The Senate has already appointed conferees, and House Leadership is expected to appoint conferees shortly. We will continue to track the progress and keep you posted on next steps for the Farm Bill.
