Because the official government portal for regulatory activity has experienced intermittent technical difficulties, some people have been prevented from successfully submitting comments to FDA on its proposed food safety standards. As a result, FDA has extended the comment period through this week. Comments are now due by midnight Eastern on Friday, November 22.
