Proposals and discussion documents for the fall 2017 National Organic Standards Board (NOSB) meeting are now available for review and public comment. The fall meeting will be October 31-November 2 at the Omni Jackson Hotel in Jacksonville, Florida. You can also view the Tentative Meeting Agenda. The Organic Trade Association will begin preparing draft comments for the meeting. Please take time to review the meeting materials and let Gwendolyn Wyard or Nate Lewis know if you have feedback to share. To help shape the Organic Trade Association draft comments that will be circulated to full membership by Wednesday, October 4, please weigh in by September 29 to the trade association. Written comments to NOSB are due no later than by midnight Eastern October 11. Also, register by October 11 to provide oral comments during the pre-meeting webinars, to be held October 24 and October 26 from 1-4 p.m. Eastern. Registration to provide oral public comments in person at the meeting October 31-November 2 is already full.
