OTA’s All Things Organic Conference, held in conjunction with Natural Products Expo East this week in Baltimore, MD, offers you the opportunity to hear directly from those making news in organic. The State of the Organic Industry, to be held Thursday from 12:30 to 1:45 p.m., will be the keynote session, setting the stage with thought-provoking discussion between organic industry leaders from a variety of disciplines. Featured speakers include USDA’s Agricultural Marketing Service Administrator Anne Alonzo, OTA’s Farmer of the Year Doug Crabtree, Environmental Working Group President and Co-founder Ken Cook, and OTA’s Executive Director/CEO Laura Batcha. The conversation will be moderated by organic industry veteran journalist and author Samuel Fromartz, and will be held in Room 314 of the Baltimore Convention Center. Immediately following the session, Fromartz will sign copies of his latest book, In Search of the Perfect Loaf: A Home Baker’s Odyssey. The State of the Organic Industry is one of a diverse set of offerings at this year’s All Things Organic Conference. The full agenda can be found here.
