Quality Assurance International (QAI) and Australian Certified Organic (ACO) have announced their new partnership to expand the certification of organic products to and from Korea and the United States for unprocessed foods, agricultural and forest products, raw food and livestock. Under the partnership, the two certification agencies are combining their organic inspections. As ACO is accredited to the South Korean organic standard for raw and processed food, livestock and livestock feed certification, it can certify products beyond those recognized in the recently approved U.S.-Korean organic equivalence arrangement for processed organic foods.
