At its January Retreat, the Board began work on developing a long-term vision for OTA using the membership survey results as a jumping-off point. After completing a back-casting exercise to begin the visioning, the Board created a task force, co-chaired by Laura Batcha, OTA’s Executive Director and CEO, and Board member Missy Hughes of Organic Valley, to further develop the long-term vision for discussion and adoption by the full Board. At least one Board member from each of the Board’s three committees is serving on the task force to keep the full Board involved in the process. We look forward to engaging members in the discussion during OTA’s Annual Meeting.
