Come learn about the rapidly growing organic fiber sector in a special panel discussion Friday, Sept. 19, from 10:30 – 11:45 a.m. in Room 315 in the Baltimore Convention Center. Our diverse panel includes manufacturers, regulatory experts and retailers. They will discuss trends in the sector, why it is a critical next frontier in the $35 billion organic industry, and what it needs to keep moving forward. Updated sector data will be presented, along with information about environmental impacts of organic cotton. Special bonus: We will also have organic cotton giveaways for audience members. Panelists will be Jeff Denby (Co-Founder and President, PACT), Gwendolyn Wyard (OTA’s Regulatory Director for Organic Standards and Food Safety), and Ted Major (Wellness Coordinator, MOM’s Organic Market), with Marci Zaroff, (Founder – Under the Canopy, President – Portico Brands, and member of OTA’s Board of Directors) as moderator.
