The cost share deadline extension mentioned in OTA’s December 8 News Flash was based on an announcement from the Wisconsin Department of Trade and Consumer Protection that it had extended the deadline to submit applications for organic cost share in that state through next March. According to Rita Meade, Grants Management Specialist with USDA-AMS-NOP-FSMIP-SCMP, States set their own timing on when applicants are required to submit information to them. The announcement in last Tuesday’s News Flash concerning an extension only pertained to Wisconsin. OTA apologizes for any confusion this may have caused.
