The Northeast Organic Farming Association of Vermont (NOFA-VT) will host its Winter Conference at the University of Vermont (UVM) this Friday through Sunday. The theme will be “Our Soil, Our Health.” One of the activities will include a listening session hosted by a researcher from UVM on manure use and food safety. Grace Gershuny, one of the founders of the Organic Food Production Association of North America (OTA’s original name), will be unveiling her book, Organic Revolutionary: A Memoir of the Movement for Real Food, Planetary Healing, and Human Liberation, and signing copies.
