National Co+op Grocers (NCG) has donated $50,000 to the CCOF Foundation’s Future Organic Farmer Grant Fund. The donation was made on behalf of NCG’s membership of 148 cooperative grocers operating over 200 stores across the country. The fund, which exclusively targets the study and teaching of organic agriculture, aims to increase the supply of organic in the United States through investing in the next generation of organic producers. In 2016, the fund will distribute more than $150,000 to students and teachers across the United States. For more information, visit the Foundation’s website.
