OTA is once again joining forces with NSF’s Training and Education division to offer a highly specialized HACCP for the Organic Professional course. This two-day class (March 5-6, Anaheim, CA) provides instruction in the seven principles of HACCP, how they relate to prerequisite and organic certification programs, and how to write HACCP and implement plans in organic food environments. The course will also address FDA’s recently proposed rules for the implementation of the Food Safety Modernization Act. If you are an organic grower, processor, certifier, inspector, retailer or distributor, HACCP for the Organic Professional is an excellent professional development opportunity for you. OTA members enjoy a discounted registration fee. Space is limited. Register here. For more information, contact Angela Jagiello.
