The Washington Organic Recycling Council (WORC), which represents the commercial and on-farm composting industry in Washington State, last week held a Board of Directors meeting. In attendance was Board member Nathanial Lewis, OTA’s Senior Crops & Livestock Specialist. Lewis has agreed to speak on acceptable uses of composted materials in certified organic crop production at WORC’s annual training for aspiring compost facility operators in October.
