OTA CEO visits member companies during travels

OTA visitOTA’s Executive Director/CEO Christine Bushway has been fitting in OTA member company summer site visits during her travels north to OTA’s Brattleboro, VT, headquarters. During this, time, she and COO Dave Gagnon have met with Organic Valley dairy farmer Mary Ellen Franklin in Guilford, VT; The King Arthur Flour Company management team in White River Junction, VT; Claudia Raessler at Food Saco River Dyehouse in Biddeford, ME; Christine Chamberlin, owner of The Clean Bedroom in Kittery, ME, and Robert Craven of FoodState ™ in Derry, NH. It’s always a pleasure to meet members in person, and to see their offices, facilities and farms.  Thank you to the hosts! These annual visits to members are “the most informing, interesting, and motivational part of my job,” Bushway says. While OTA staff can’t visit everyone, you can certainly come to us. Please let OTA’s Membership Manager Linda Lutz know if you’ll be in the Vermont, Washington, D.C., or Ottawa areas, and are interested in stopping by OTA offices to meet some of our team.
