OTA hosted presidents and other representatives of state Farmers Unions (including Wisconsin, Kansas, Ohio, New England, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Iowa, and California) yesterday in its D.C. headquarters for a discussion on the potential framework for an organic check-off. The group engaged in a productive conversation about potential governance, programming, and assessment structure with Marni Karlin, OTA’s Vice President of Government Affairs and General Counsel. OTA looks forward to a continued conversation with representatives of state Farmers Unions as we move forward in this process. For more information, contact Marni Karlin.
