OTA hosts check-off discussion with state Farmers Union reps

capitalOTA hosted presidents and other representatives of state Farmers Unions (including Wisconsin, Kansas, Ohio, New England, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Iowa, and California) yesterday in its D.C. headquarters for a discussion on the potential framework for an organic check-off.  The group engaged in a productive conversation about potential governance, programming, and assessment structure with Marni Karlin, OTA’s Vice President of Government Affairs and General Counsel. OTA looks forward to a continued conversation with representatives of state Farmers Unions as we move forward in this process. For more information, contact Marni Karlin.
