The Organic Center has released a whiteboard video that examines the process of organic certification, communicating to consumers that the integrity of organic flows through the certification process from farm to shelf. The “explainer” video highlights the fact that the benefits of organic don’t stop at the farm gate–they continue through crop harvesting, processing, and all the way to the finished products bought on the shelf, whether an apple or a multivitamin. The video reviews what organic entails, including no GMOs, no antibiotics or growth hormones, no artificial colors, preservatives, or flavors, no synthetic fertilizers or toxic pesticides, no irradiation, and no sewage sludge. The Center thanks Garden of Life for its support of this video! Check it out and share it widely.
