OTA has compiled a comprehensive summary of the discussions and decisions from the National Organic Standards Board (NOSB)’s spring public meeting in its latest NOSB Report. A complete transcript of the meeting will eventually be posted on the National Organic Program (NOP) website. The meeting was also filmed for the first time, and the Webcast is now available.
On May 22 at the NOSB meeting, Miles McEvoy, NOP Deputy Administrator, covered the following topics in his introductory remarks: what NOP has accomplished and what’s next, the role of NOSB, how to best utilize our limited resources, and how we all can work together to achieve common goals.
